Robert E. "Bob" Lockwood, 61 of Woodford, died Sat. Jan. 26, 2013 at his home.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather,he served his country in the U. S. Army in Vietnam.
He retired after 23 years as manager of Fredericksburg Concrete.

Survivors include his wife, Susan S. Lockwood; his father, Fred Carr of Florida; a daughter, Beth Lockwood of Sparta; two grandchildren, Alan Edward Lockwood and Madison Loraine Deloach; a brother, Billy Lockwood of Florida and a step-sister, Mary B. Cheney of Florida.

A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o P. O. Box 920, Bowling Green, VA. 22427.
