Robert F. “Bobby” Fulcher, Sr., 72, of Disputanta passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar B. and Helen Glazer Fulcher, a sister, Naomi F. Long, two brothers, Harold B. and James A. Fulcher, grandson, Joshua L. Colston. Mr. Fulcher was a member of Lakemont Baptist Church, a retired brick mason of fifty years, a member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans, avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, and loved to ride his Harley. He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie Fulcher, two sons, Robert F. Fulcher, Jr., and Frankie S. Fulcher, two daughters, Sherrie F. Rickman and Gina M. Colston, four grandchildren, Camron M. Colston, Stacy Rickman, Ryan and Summer Fulcher, three brothers, John H., William E., and Oscar B. Fulcher, Jr, a sister, Mary L. Wakeland, also numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted 10:30 am Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA with Pastor Robert McIntosh officiating.
