HARRIS, Robert P., died Friday, December 23, 2011 surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He was 82. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather. He understood duty, responsibility and self-sacrifice, serving his country, community and family. He loved his family and was much loved in return. He will be greatly missed. Robert is survived by his wife, Lucy; five children, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Family will accept friends and relatives on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, Ashland, Va. Services will be held at St. Peters Church, Montpelier, VA, Saturday, December 31, at 1 p.m.
