Hayes: Robert Wayne King, 60, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at his home. Robert was a 1970 graduate of Gloucester High School, a 1972 graduate of Nashville Auto-Diesel College and was retired from McAllister Towing Company as a Chief Engineer. He had a deep love for the water and everything that went with it, and because of that he was a constant observer of the weather channel. Another favorite interest he had was watching old western movies.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Roy King and son, Harley T. King.
He is survived by:
His daughter: Stephanie Booker and husband Roane
Mother: Lois King
Sister: Sharon Heywood
Brother: Roy King, Jr.
Granddaughters: Morgan and Andrea
Funeral services will be private.
