Roderick Jeter Winkler

Roderick Jeter Winkler went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 2, 2011. He was 92 and a lifetime resident of Caroline County.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Arline O. Winkler, who passed away December 21, 2000.

Survivors include three step-daughters, Susan Sullivan and her husband Nathan Sullivan, and their daughter, Jessica Sullivan; Linda Swain and her husband, Chuck Swaim and their daughters, Katie and Whitney Swaim; Anne Seawell; a step-son, John Henry Berberich; a nephew, Roderick Winkler, and his wife, Niki Howell, and their son, Lawrence Evan Winkler, and many other local and distant family members.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11 at Bethany Baptist Church in Woodford.
