Ronald R. Shannon, 74, of Richmond, VA. died Saturday August 11, 2012 at home with his family. A native of Syracuse, NY, he retired from Reynolds Metals Co. in 1998. He is survived by his wife Margaret (Peggy) Shannon, his son Jeffrey Shannon of Telluride, CO, and his son Brian Shannon and wife Cathy of Richmond, VA, his grandchildren, Natalie and Luke, and his brother, Charles Shannon of Edmond, OK. He was preceded in death by his brother Harry Shannon and sister Nancy Rockdashil. Memorial contributions may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, Hospice of Virginia or a favorite charity.
