Shirley DeArmond Denham, of Greensburg, peacefully passed away on Januray 3, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 7, 1921, and was 91 years old. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Skelton and husband, Ira "Red" Skelton, sons, Frank L. "Billy" Denham, Jr. and wife, Donna, and Dean Denham and wife, Claire, 19 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Jackson DeArmond, mother, Mary Lieche DeArmond, husband, Frank Leroy Denham, daughter, Elizabeth Ann Coley, son, Larry C. Denham, 5 sisters, 3 brothers, 2 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. There will be a visitation held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Sunday from 12:00 PM until funeral services at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
