Shirley Ray Shiflette

Wicomico: Shirley R. Shiflette, 78, went to her Heavenly home on April 15, 2012. Shirley was born October 1, 1933 to the late Vernice and Melba Croswell. Shirley was a member of Providence Baptist Church and cooked at the Coast Guard Base, Yorktown for a number of years. She loved her family and devoted much of her time to them and she will be greatly missed by all.
Her husband, Larkin Shiflette; daughter, Brenda Pittman and grandson, David Fain, Jr. also preceded her in death.
She is survived by:

Son: Scott Shiflette
Sister: Mable Calmes

1 great great grandson
And a host of nieces and nephews
Funeral services officiated by Reverend W. Donald Ambrose will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregiver Candy Scott for the loving care and support given to Shirley.
