Steven L. Halladay, 27, of North Carolina, passed away on July 11, 2012. Steve attended Yorktown High School in Arlington, VA, graduating in 2003. He was a long-term resident of Arlington before moving to North Carolina, where he began working at a pharmaceutical company. While there, he rose to a team leader position and was well respected and loved by his co-workers. He enjoyed summers with his family in the Outer Banks. His family will always cherish the memory of their time spent with him.
Loved and adored by everyone, he always was and always will be our Steven. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Sue Halladay; sister and brother-in-law, Brie and Christopher Kochensparger and their children, Lauren and Chloe; sister and brother-in-law, Kate and Brian Astor; grandmother, Judy Halladay; aunt, Jennifer Halladay; aunt and uncle, Kristin and Christopher Lahiff; and cousins, Marshall, Dylan, Spencer, and Austin Lahiff.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 16 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, where the service will take place at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private at a later date.
