GRANBURY -- Sara Suz-Ann Price McGonigle, 67, of Granbury passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, after battling lung cancer.
Service: 12:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
Memorials: May be given to Hood County 4H-Granbury.
Suzy was born in Dallas, Oct. 12, 1945. She graduated from The Hockaday School and attended Texas Christian University. Her career was in the jewelry business for more than 40 years. Suzy's canine companion Sara was her greatest joy and they competed in hunting trials, obedience, rescue and therapy. She was married to Kelly McGonigle for 22 years.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, George H. Price and Richard D. Hawn; mother, Ann W. Gulledge; father, George V. Price; and stepmother, Elizabeth M. Price.
The family wishes to thank her doctors, nurses, and hospice helping in her transition.
Survivors: Suzy is survived by her husband, Kelly; children, Tracy Phillips, Kelly Ann Gentry; eight grandchildren; one sister; five brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family she cared for deeply.
