Trevor Scott Chaplin, 2, of Dinwiddie, went to live with Jesus on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012. Our beautiful son, survived by his loving parents, Jason W. and Erica S. Chaplin of Dinwiddie and unborn brother, Hunter S. Chaplin, loved life to the fullest.
Trevor leaves to cherish his memory, his grandparents, Pops and Yia Yia, Ted and Cheryl Scott of Dinwiddie; Granddad and Grandma, Kevin and Cindy Chaplin of Chesterfield; his aunts and uncles, Aunt Z and Uncle D, Brandi Scott and Daniel Davis of Chesterfield, Uncle Josh Chaplin and Aunt Courtney Chaplin of Chesterfield, Auntie Shannon and Uncle Matt Keavy of Disputanta; his great-grandparents, Thomas and Cynthia Scott Henry and Edith Austin, both of Dinwiddie, Fred and Betty Chaplin, Raymond and Carol Chalkley, both of Chesterfield; and his godmother, Ci Ci, Cindy Santerre of Petersburg.
Trevor was energetic, independent boy who loved fishing, baseball, trains and playing in the dirt.
A memorial service to honor his life will be held at Smyrna Baptist Church, 18725 Carson Road, Dinwiddie, VA 23841 on Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Robert L. Rowland, III. At the conclusion of the service, Jason and Erica will greet family and friends in the church Fellowship Hall.
