THOMPSON, Mrs. Trudy Priddy, 62, of Quinton, VA passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. She was a published author. Trudy is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, J.D. Thompson; daughters, Theresa Briggs (William Briggs, Jr.) and Michelle Thompson; three grandchildren, Zachary, Kyle and Dakota.

The family will receive friends at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231 on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 6 – 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 12, at the Nelsen Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, Il 60601 or alz.org.
