Norris, Truman "Doug," age 67, of Plant City, went home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2012, after a short battle with cancer. Born August 14, 1945 in Lake City, Florida to Millard and Katie Norris. He was a loving father to his children, John (Kim) Norris, Jeannie Rose, Pam Kyak, Cheryl (Rusty) Chancey-Judah, Kristine (Joel) Fewox. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers and 4 sisters. He retired from Kash n' Karry in 1997 after 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends. The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2012 at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace. Funeral Services will be held, 11 a.m., Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Fowler Avenue Baptist Church, 6161 E. Fowler Ave., Temple Terrace. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
