William "Bill" Stark, 87, of Sherwood passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012. He was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ. He was a Navy Seabee and was retired from the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his two sons, William Andy Stark, and wife Cyndee, of Sherwood, and Tommy Lawson, of North Little Rock; two daughters, Eva Price and husband, Roy, of Little Rock, and Kathy Rogers and husband, Eddie, of Sherwood; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons; and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Susie Capps Stark; brothers O.D. and C.B. Stark; and sister, Lorene Evans.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kenya Syriat Bible School c/o 7th and Mueller, Church of Christ, 1000 S. 7th Street, Paragould, AR 72450.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
