William K. Abrahamian “Abe”, 59, of Dinwiddie passed away, Monday, March 29, 2010. He is preceded in death by his mother; Trudy, his step father; John Bear “Pops” and step mother Bobbie Abrahamian. He was the lead person in returns at the Supervalue Wholesale, for over twenty years. Mr. Abrahamian was a member of the NRA (National Rifle Association), a gunsmith and he enjoyed watching the NASCAR races but was a HUGE fan of the Washington Redskins and enjoyed watching their games, he proudly served his country for six years in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany and Korea, also he served his country for fifteen years while in the National Guard. He is survived by his wife of twenty six years, Karen Abrahamian, five daughters; Angela Pipia (Frank), Leslie McGuinn (Jeff), Christie Barron, Elizabeth Nolen (Murphy), Kimberly Abrahamian, ten grandchildren; Murphy III, Desiree, Cassie, Mikey, Tony, Rachael, Harleyann, Michael, Abby, JJ, his father Katchig Abrahamian, two brothers; Jon, Gary, six sisters; Tonette, Terri, Sandra, Patty, Christy, Theresa, a special nephew Ricky Smith, Jr. and other friends and family. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:30 PM, Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Nelsen Funeral Home 214 N. 6th Ave. Hopewell, VA., where a service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 2, 2010, with a 1:00 PM committal service at Virginia Veterans Cemetery , 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia, VA 23002. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a Charity of your choice. Condolences may be registered at www.nelsencares.com.
