CRABTREE, Jr., William Stuart "Bill", 44, of Richmond, VA passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2012 with his family and friends at his side. Bill was born May 27, 1968 in Fredericksburg, VA. He graduated from Broad Run High School in Northern VA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and graduated Cum Laude from VCU in Richmond, VA. Bill was employed as a Photographer/Sr. Graphic Designer with the Virginia Tourism Corporation. He was a wonderful, much loved father to his son, Creed Walton Crabtree; a loving husband to his wife, Renee Brooks Crabtree; beloved son of his parents, William S. Crabtree, Sr. and Laurie M. Crabtree of Purcellville, VA; grandson to William F. Mason and Marilyn J. Mason of Fredericksburg, VA and Gertrude V. Mason of Purcellville, VA; adored by his dog, Lucky. Bill is survived by many dear friends, co-workers and extended family from Richmond, Fredericksburg, Bristol, Northern VA as well as North and South Carolina, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey who will never forget him. He was also a long time soccer coach to his son and many great children from the Varina area whom will keep playing in his honor. A Celebration of Life for Bill will be held on Wednesday, August 29 at 3:00 p.m. at Osborne Park, 9530 Osborne Turnpike, Richmond, VA, with a reception following at the same location.
